By accessing and using Matemote ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
Account Creation
To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Account Types
We offer different account types (Customer and Service Provider). Each account type has specific rights and responsibilities as outlined in these terms.
Permitted Use
You may use the Platform to:
- Search for and book professional services in your area
- Post and respond to service advertisements
- Create and manage service provider profiles
- Communicate with customers and service providers
- Leave reviews and ratings for completed services
- Manage bookings, payments, and service history
- Access customer support and dispute resolution
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal activities or services
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent service listings
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or service providers
- Impersonate other individuals or provide false information
- Attempt to hack, damage, or disrupt our platform
- Use automated tools or bots to access the platform
- Violate intellectual property rights of others
- Offer or solicit services that are prohibited by law
- Manipulate reviews, ratings, or platform algorithms
- Share confidential information obtained through the platform
Payment Processing
All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors. We do not store your payment information on our servers.
Service Fees
Service providers may charge fees for their services. Platform usage fees may apply for certain premium features or services.
Refunds
Refund policies are determined by individual service providers. We facilitate communication between parties for refund requests but do not guarantee refunds.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Platform.
Platform Content
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Service Quality and Safety
Matemote acts as a marketplace connecting customers with service providers. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or reliability of services offered by service providers. Users are responsible for verifying service provider credentials, conducting due diligence, and ensuring service quality meets their expectations.
Platform Availability
We strive to provide continuous access to the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any damages caused by service interruptions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. We encourage users to resolve disputes amicably through our platform's dispute resolution process before pursuing legal action.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
